If you are a UC Resident/Fellow enrolled in the UC-sponsored Health Net HMO plan
If your are a UC Postdoc and enrolled in UC-sponsored Health Net HMO plan
you utilize services at the UCSF Medical Center/Children’s hospital, a change will take place beginning 1/1/10 that could affect how you and your family members access care at the UCSF Medical Center. Effective January 1, 2010, all doctors in the UCSF Medical Group will join Hill Physicians Medical Group in San Francisco, and will no longer participate in Brown & Toland Medical Group.
If you and your family members want to ensure that you have unrestricted access to UCSF specialists next year, you will need to select Hill Physicians Medical Group and a Hill Physicians primary care provider in San Francisco, Daly City or South San Francisco.
